Higuerón Resort is proud to introduce Javier and Joaquín Bello as their new beach volleyball ambassadors. These brothers, born in Madrid, began their careers at the VoleyPlaya Madrid club before moving to London at the age of 10. Under the guidance of their father, a coach and England volleyball selector, the brothers have accumulated numerous achievements.
Career and Achievements
Since their international debut in 2015 representing England, the Bello brothers have shined on the beach volleyball scene. Javier, who holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, is completing a master’s in Strategic Communications at Kings College London. Joaquín, a doctor with a degree in Medicine from Imperial College, has paused his specialization to fully dedicate himself to beach volleyball with an eye on the upcoming Olympic cycle.
In recent years, they have won national tournaments such as Laredo, Las Palmas, and Ribadesella, and are the current Copa del Rey champions. Internationally, they hold the 22nd position in the world rankings, having earned six medals on the Beach Pro Tour, the most recent in April of this year.
Connection with Spain and Málaga
Despite residing in England, the Bello brothers have maintained a strong connection with Spain, especially with Málaga, where part of their family lives. This connection reinforces their commitment to the sport in Spain, particularly with Higuerón Resort.
Higuerón Resort: A Center of Sporting Excellence
The appointment of Javier and Joaquín as ambassadors highlights Higuerón Resort and Leiro Residences‘ commitment to high-level sports. The resort’s facilities, known for their quality, offer the perfect environment for the practice and promotion of beach volleyball. This sponsorship underscores the resort’s passion for sports and its ability to support world-class athletes.
